GOLD medal winning Ellie Simmonds will have her very own Royal Mail stamp printed in honour of her awesome world record beating swim at the Paralympics 2012.
Ellie Simmonds, from Aldridge, near Walsall, will also have a post-box painted in gold in her home town tomorrow after she stormed to victory in the S6 400m freestyle final.
The whole nation cheered on the 17-year-old on Saturday night as she set a new world record in an incredible win.
Ellie Simmonds stamp will go on sale tomorrow at over 500 Post Offices around the country.

Mr Simmonds said: “That was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen her do.
“The 400-metre world record has got Eleanor Simmonds’ name written all over it and she wanted it back. It was the top of her Christmas list and she’s got it.”
Mr Simmonds praised the “unreal atmosphere” inside the centre which he believed helped Ellie in her quest for a third Paralympic gold.
He added: “There were seriously loud noises for all the British athletes. It was an unreal atmosphere. I think the encouragement from the crowd will have made a difference.”
Royal Mail has committed to creating stamps and painting post boxes for Team GB athletes winning Gold in the Olympic and Paralympic games.
A spokesman said four boxes have been painted around the UK this Sunday.

Tonight the opening ceremony of the Paralympics takes place with the games officially kicking off tomorrow!
There is a lot of buzz around Team GB with them expecting to win a lot of gold medals across numerous events and with the success of Team GB in the Olympics we can only hope and cheer that the Paralympians will be able to do the same.
This blog is just to send a final good luck message to all Team GB athletes participating in the Paralympics in particular our home town paralympians Ellie Simmonds and Ryan Cockbill.
GOOD LUCK TEAM GB!
If you are having a party or event relating to the Paralympics we can provide portable toilets for hire to ensure all your guests are catered for, and can also offer disabled toilet hire for those that require it.
The Paralympics kicks off in 9 days’ time, and 2 of the hopefuls are from Walsall, which is where Tardis is based! They even went to the same school as 2 of our employees, one of which being me.
Ellie Simmonds and Ryan Cockbill will both be competing at this year’s Paralympics. Ellie Simmonds may be a more familiar face to you due to her success in Beijing 4 years ago.
Ellie was born 11 November 1994 in Walsall, West Midlands and competed at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China in the 50 m, 100 m and 400 m freestyle, 50 m butterfly, and 200 m individual medley. She swims in the S6 disability category.
At the age of 13, she was the youngest British athlete in China. She came 5th in the 200 m individual medley and won gold medals in the 100 m and 400 m freestyle events and hopefully there is more success to come at this year!
This year will be Ryan Cockbills first Paralympics; he will be taking part in shooting. His first international competition was the 2010 IPC World Cup in Sczcecin, Poland, where he returned home with four trophies. Other career highlights include the 2011 IPC Shooting World Cup in Fort Benning, USA, where he won a bronze medal in the R5 10m Air Rifle Prone Mixed SH2 bearing all this in mind I don’t see why there couldn’t be a gold medal on the way!
Everyone at Tardis would like to wish a massive good luck to Ryan and Ellie!
